Our installation portrays the amount of plastic waste by decade from 1960-2015. The area of the projection and animation represents the amount of waste in tons and growth speed over time. The visualization is projected on a sculptural wall made out of plastic waste.
This Interactive Sculpture was exhibited at the SAIC Leroy Neiman Center as well as Northwestern as part of the "Refracting Data" Exhibition from December 2018 to February 2019.
